Rooted in the rolling fields of Lexington, Kentucky, Silvacola Custom Design is the creation of owner and operator Brent Hanna, whose journey began on his family’s farm—Silvacola Farm. Surrounded by the heritage architecture of the Bluegrass region, Brent developed an early admiration for the craftsmanship, character, and story etched into every historic home. That admiration quickly turned into a passion for building and creating with his own hands.
From a young age, Brent spent countless hours in the workshop, mastering the intricacies of carpentry and honing his natural ability to transform raw materials into functional works of art. His early experiences—shaped by farm life, hard work, building houses with Habitat for Humanity, and a commitment to doing things right—laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong dedication to quality craftsmanship.
